A lot has happened since the release of Legend of Gardyan’s first volume Sign of the Raven. To summarize everything that had happened since autumn 2025, here’s a little recap for you:
The Raven Spreading its Wings
Getting word of my novel project out into the world certainly remains an interesting challenge. As expected, finding people who might not only be willing to review Sign of the Raven but also would enjoy this unconventional release was not easy. However, I found some truly lovely readers along the way who by now became my very core supporters.

Especially my Instagram Community is full of little gems when it comes to bookstagram followers and newly found book besties. I enjoy creating visual content for my insta feed a lot and am happy that it seems to resonate with people.
Also, the first few reviews for Sign of the Raven on Amazon and Goodreads are in and they mostly are positive and encouraging. I’ve made an effort and include some of the most beautiful review quotes across the website. Thank you all so much for your feedback in that regard. I hope that I can keep up the good work to further enchant you with the next volume!
Brewing new Chapters
Speaking of, said next volume is already in the making! As the inner circle might know already, cover reveal and ARC phase are soon to come. But first, the audiobook for Sign of the Raven shall be wrapped up by the end of May.
Those among you, who support me as an author and donated to the Raven Blade Tier, already know that the audio chapters by now have reached chapter 17, meaning that there are only 4 chapters left until the audiobook is complete.
If you would be interested in becoming an ALC for this, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment or shoot me a DM on social media!
A new Home for the LoG Website
The latest and biggest change of all surely was the website transfer from Wix to WordPress. A move that had many but most importantly creative reasons.
Somehow, WP allows for a better workflow and is more suitable when it comes to an artist’s creativity in terms of web design. Besides, I feel more comfortable working with a web tool I already have lots of experience with.
Thanks to the website transfer, we now also have a proper, traditional forum again which I know some of you did miss with the modernisation of Wix forums. I hope this will be a good fresh start for round two in the Legend of Gardyan series. Because we’re far from done here!
Looking forward to further grow the network and hear your feedback in future. For now, I’ll end this blog and wish you a happy Freya’s Day in this first week after Beltane!
Yours truly,
Brynn Danu
