In this guide, you will find all the important information about the ARC and ALC application process.

How does it work?

You will find a specific ARC & ALC application form for each Legend of Gardyan volume. Applications currently available include:

• Sign of the Raven Application Form
• Sign of the Owl Application Form

Simply fill out your chosen application form and click "Submit".

Once your application has been approved, a tier account to the Legend of Gardyan website will be created for you specifically, giving you full access to exclusive content such as online chapters, character sheets, lore writing, ARC updates and more. Your confirmation for the site membership invitation you get via mail is mandatory, so your tier benefits can be unlocked.

Please note that ARC and ALC spots are limited and applications are reviewed individually.

To ensure every reviewer receives proper access and support, new ARC and ALC intakes are organised in seasonal review rounds throughout the year. Applicants who are not selected for the current round may be considered for future review campaigns.

New to the Reviewers Team?

If you applied for reviewing Sign of the Owl, you might want to read / listen to Sign of the Raven first to catch up on the story!

Don't worry, you don't need to apply again for that. As member of the reviewers team, you will have full access to the Sign of the Raven online chapters and audio chapters on the website via your tier account. 

What's next?

ARC reading will start in July and last until October with different reading and listening formats depending on the volume you chose to review.

Kindle Unlimited members applying for an ARC may download their free copy on Amazon directly.

A free ARC will be waiting for you on Amazon once the reading phase begins in July. Please check notifications of the Red Raven Messenger for this, because KDP Free Copy campaigns only last for five days and I want to make sure everyone receives it. 

How to submit your Review

After reading or listening to the book, please post your honest review on at least one of the following platforms:

• Amazon
• Barnes & Noble
• Goodreads
• Waterstones

Reviews on Fable, Libby or social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and others are entirely optional, but very much appreciated.

If you choose to share your review on social media, please don't forget to tag the Legend of Gardyan profile so your post can be shared with the community.

Please also remember to fill out the ARC & ALC feedback form, which will be provided to you after joining the reviewers team.

As you can see, the new Legend of Gardyan forum is now live and back to a more traditional layout. I know some of you just like me didn't like the overly modernised group layout for forums Wix was providing. Which was one major reason I decided to move the website to my old and familiar website host WordPress. 

There were a bunch of other issues with Wix, too, for example the ridiculous prices for basic features and tools every website owner likes and which I can use for free with WP. Besides, I have more freedom when it comes to layout design for the site and creating new content.

I have already given all previous ARCs their privileges for reading and writing in the council hall back and there soon will be new stuff to read should you decide to stay with me on this journey that is my dark fantasy novel series. Until then, feel free to roam the website and the forum and give it your personal touch as the core members of this project you truly are. ❤️
